Harry Styles Becomes First One Direction Star To Reach Five Million Twitter Followers

The 'Gotta Be You' star has reached a new Twitter milestone fresh from the band's US tour.
Harry Styles has become the first member of One Direction to reach over five million followers on Twitter.
The 'One Thing' singer reached the Twitter milestone earlier today (3rd July) fresh from returning from America this week after the band wrapped their US headline tour over the weekend.
Harry's Twitter viewers currently stand at 5,003,389, almost half a million more than the second most followed One Direction star Niall Horan who's follower count was at 4,530,714 this afternoon.
"@Harry_Styles Congratulations on hitting that tricky 5th million followers. #WelJel ;-)," The X Factor tweeted to Harry after hearing the news.

The 'What Makes You Beautiful' five-piece bought their 'Up All Night' tour of America to a close on Sunday (1st July) in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, after several months travelling back and forth to the US promoting their debut album and subsequent single releases.
One Direction were pictured boarding a flight from Miami yesterday as they prepared to head back to the UK, and Niall Horan confirmed this afternoon that he is now enjoying some time off at home.
Harry, Niall, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson have been back in the studio in recent works working on new music for their next album, and have teased plans to launch a brand new single by September this year.
