One Direction's Harry Styles Congratulates Ed Sheeran For Ivor Novello Win

The 'Gotta Be You' singer says the 'Drunk' singer is a "legend" for his recent awards win.

One Direction's Harry Styles has congratulated Ed Sheeran following his win at the Ivor Novello Awards yesterday.

The 'Lego House' singer-songwriter picked  Best Song Musically And Lyrically for his 2011 debut single 'The A Team', and One Direction star Harry is one of a number of people to congratulate Ed on Twitter.

"@edsheeran congratulations on the Ivor you legend!!" Harry tweeted earleir today (18th May).

After picking up the award at yesterday's ceremony in London Ed told Capital he felt "a bit emotional" about the honour and admitted it had been a dream of his to win at the Ivor Novellos.

One Direction recently returned to the UK after a trip to Sweden to start work on recording their second studio album, following success with their 2011 debut record 'Up All Night'.

Ed Sheeran has also returned to England this week after his recent trip to the US supporting Snow Patrol on tour.
