The 'Gotta Be You' stars will perform for the events centenary on a bill also featuring Robbie Williams.
One Direction have been announced for an appearance at this year's Royal Variety Performance show.
The 'What Makes You Beautiful' stars are now expected to join an all-star line-up including Girls Aloud, Robbie Williams, Alicia Keys and Kylie Minogue who are all also set to perform on the night.
One Direction are said to be planning a special performance of their new single 'Little Things' for the event, which was penned by UK singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran for the band.
The 'Live While We're Young' five-piece have been teasing their music video for 'Little Things' all week with special clips, which is expected to be unveiled in full this Friday (2nd November).
Comedian David Walliams is hosting the annual event, which marks the Royal Variety Performance's centenary.

The Royal Variety Performance will be filmed at the Royal Albert Hall on 19th November with an air date expected in December on ITV.
One Direction are preparing to release their new album 'Take Me Home' in two weeks on 12th November.
