One Direction Excited For JLS The X Factor Video Shoot

The former X Factor stars are looking forward to filming the video for 'Wishing On A Star' with JLS this afternoon.

One Direction have said they are excited about filming the music video for the X Factor charity single later today.

The boy band will join fellow former X Factor boy band JLS alongside this year's crop of contestants to film the video for their cover of Rose Royce's 'Wishing On A Star'.

"Can't wait! Today we shoot the video for X-Factor charity single with JLS and the contestants! Can't wait!" band member Niall Horan tweeted this afternoon.

The X Factor finalists recorded vocals for the release last month following which Simon Cowell drafted in both One Direction and JLS to contribute in an effort to help boost the single's sales.

One Direction launched their second single 'Gotta Be You' today and debut album Up All Night will be available from 18^th November.

The 'What Makes You Beautiful' singers are due to perform on this weekend's X Factor results show following JLS' performance this past weekend.

Both One Direction and JLS have been announced for the second day line-up of the Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball in December.

'Wishing On A Star' is due out on 20^th November, with all proceeds going to ACT & Children's Hospices UK.
