The 'Gotta Be You' singers have reached a huge career milestone with massive sales in just twelve months.
One Direction were celebrating last night after being presented with an award to celebrate accumulating 12 million combined sales over the past year.
The 'What Makes You Beautiful' singers were pictured being given a special disc by their record label Syco to mark the achievement, after selling eight million singles, three million albums and one million live DVDs over the past twelve months.
"We are obviously ecstatic and humbled by our award today," One Direction's Liam Payne told The Sun after receiving the special disc.
Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan and band member Liam were all said to have celebrated with a night out at Chinawhite nightclub in central London with friends and coworkers.
The 'One Thing' stars also had reason to celebrate this week after their were nominated for two MTV Video Music Awards, including Best New Artist and Best Pop Video, as well as being confirmed for a performance at the awards ceremony in early September.

Liam Payne spoke out about their upcoming performance at the Los Angeles awards show, and promised that the band will be aiming to "make a moment" for themselves with the set.
One Direction have also been linked to a potential appearance at the closing ceremony of the London 2012 Olympic Games, while they will definitely headline the iTunes Festival 2012 at the Camden Roundhouse on 20th September.
