Zouis began trending worldwide after fans spotted Louis Tomlinson had reacted to Zayn and Gigi Hadid's baby news.
One Direction fans assemble. It looks like Louis Tomlinson and Zayn might be on good terms again and the internet can't deal.
It's no secret that Zayn and Louis Tomlinson have had a tumultuous relationship. The two singers appeared to be close with each other in the band but ever since Zayn left One Direction in 2015, they've had multiple public beefs on and off social media. Given how private they both are, it's been hard for fans to work out whether they're friends anymore.
Today (Sep 24), Zayn and GiGi Hadid announced the birth of their first baby daughter and Louis congratulated them both.

Taking to Instagram, Zayn shared a photograph of him and his daughter with the caption: "Our baby girl is here, healthy and beautiful, to try put into words how i am feeling right now would be an impossible task. The love I feel for this tiny human is beyond my understanding. Grateful to know her, proud to call her mine, and thankful for the life we will have together x".
Mere hours later, One Direction fans noticed that Louis had liked the post. If that wasn't exciting enough, fans also noticed yesterday (Sep 23) that Zayn had touched up his 'BUS 1' tattoo (a matching tattoo he got with Louis in the band). In brand new promo pics for Zayn's upcoming single 'Better', his 'BUS 1' tattoo is visibly more clear than it's been recently.
Naturally, people are freaking out. Within a few minutes, 'Zouis' began trending worldwide on Twitter with fans losing it over the thought of Louis and Zayn being close again. One person tweeted: "WAIT ZAYN RETOUCHED HIS BUS 1 TATTOO, LOUIS LIKED HIS POST OMG ZOUIS ARE THRIVING IN THEIR FRIENDSHIP THEY PATCHED UP FOR SURE."
Another added: "LOUIS TOMLINSON FREAKING LIKED ZAYN MALIK'S POST..... I'M IN REAL TEARS... IMAGINE IF THEY'RE HAVING A LITTLE ZOUIS DADDY CHATS."
