The 'Heart Skips A Beat' singer offers his praise of the Irish star he considers a "cheeky chappy".
Olly Murs has confessed that he can see a lot of himself in One Direction singer Niall Horan.
The 'Dance With Me Tonight' star is close friends with the 'Little Things' singer and the rest of the band, and told MTV News that he is reminded of his own youth when he sees the Irish star.
"Me and Niall get on so well. He almost reminds me of what I was like when I was his age, even though I'm not that old, but he reminds me of what I was like: cheeky, chappy, having a laugh," the Essex singer said.
The former X Factor star also said how there's no one who doesn't get on with Niall and recalled an incident when he was late for his own soundcheck recently.
"He just talks to everyone, gets along with everyone," he aid. "And one day, I was about five minutes late for soundcheck, and I was thinking the band is already playing and Niall was on there after he soundchecked, and he was singing with my band pretending to be me, and I was like, 'Hey!' I was like, 'I've lost my job then,' so Niall was taking my job."
Olly is currently promoting his single 'Troublemaker' out in the US and is set to appear in an upcoming episode of 90210.
Speaking to Capital today (1st February), the 'Army Of Two' singer also hit out at claims he'd quit the Xtra Factor insisting he could still be back on the show in 2013.
