The 'Heart Skips A Beat' star will join the likes of Rihanna, Adele and Bruno Mars on stage at the BRITs next month.
Olly Murs has confirmed that he has been asked to perform live at the BRIT Awards 2012.
The 'Dance With Me Tonight' star is also up for an award at the ceremony in London's O2 Arena in February after his track 'Heart Skips A Beat' was nominated for Best British Single.
Earlier this evening he took to his Twitter account to make the announcement.
He tweeted: "Ok....OK...some of you are so inpatient... I can confirm I have been added to perform at this years BRIT AWARDS 2012....absolutely buzzzing!"
The former X Factor star will now perform on the same stage as the likes of Adele – who is making her live UK return – and Rihanna who is rumoured to duet with Coldplay on the night.
The initial list of performers and the full list of nominations were announced at a party in London's Soho Hotel earlier this month.
Meanwhile, earlier today (25th January) Olly announced plans for a new ITV2 tour documentary which will follow the star on his upcoming UK arena tour.

Voting for all of the categories at this year's BRIT Awards has now opened, including the British Single award, which is voted for by listeners of Capital FM.
Each listener who casts a vote for British Single will be entered into a competition to win a pair of tickets to this year's ceremony.
