The 'Heart Skips A Beat' singer says his life has changed so much since his first appearance on the C4 gameshow.
Olly Murs says he is hoping his upcoming return to Deal Or No Deal will be a huge success and admits it will be a strange feeling be back on the show after appearing as a contestant back in 2007.
'Dance With Me Tonight' singer Olly originally starred on the popular Channel 4 gameshow five years ago when he memorably walking away with only £10, after turning down an offer of £26,000 from the banker, and says he is looking forward to winning some money for his chosen charity.
"It was 2008 when we went on Deal Or No Deal so it's going to be great fun to go back on it," Olly revealed to capitalfm.com this week. "Actually the turn of events since that show aired in 2007 to now was really crazy.
"Things happened, I did my really bad knee injury, I stopped playing football and then I started singing and it just all escalated from there," the 'Oh My Goodness' singer explained. "I had a rough time really, you know, winning £10 on a national TV show and coming back to Essex and all my friends, and people I didn't know were tacking the mickey out of me and I felt really down about it.
"So to come back from that experience now coming back on the show, with all my friends and family going to be there and my mates, and trying to win some money for my charity, Brainwave, that I'm a patron of," Olly added. "I think it could be a huge success, so fingers crossed!"
The 'Heart Skips A Beat' star also recently confirmed his return to The Xtra Factor this year to capitalfm.com, after describing his decision to return for a second year on the ITV2 show as a "no brainer".
Olly Murs released his latest single 'Oh My Goodness' last week and is expected to return to the recording studio to begin working on his third studio album this summer.
