Olly spills the beans on what to expect from his new release.
Olly Murs has said his new album will take his music in a new direction of funk and soul.
"I've actually gone back to my early X Factor style when I was covering Stevie Wonder," Olly revealed.
"A more soulful funky vibe."
With the first track from the album 'Heart Skips A Beat' due out on Sunday 21st August, Olly says the style of the single is not representative of the whole album.
"Skips a beat is a summery record and another new sound for me, a bit more street," Olly told the Daily Star.
"But I'm not going urban, that's not my vibe. I want the fans to know that."
