Offset premiered an album trailer for his upcoming Feb 22 release but fans are divided over the use of his wife Cardi B's birth footage to promote the release.
Migos rapper Offset will release his debut solo album on February 22 and the trailer he debuted for the project has already divided fans on social media. On Sunday night, the same night his wife Cardi B took home her first Grammy for Best Rap Album, Offset dropped the trailer for his upcoming release and documentary, which featured the "I Like It" singer giving birth to their daughter, Kulture.
In the video, Cardi B is seen surrounded by medical personnel, family, and friends as she gives birth to their daughter, who arrived in July 2018. Offset is also present in the delivery room and looks every bit the nervous fourth time father-to-be.
While the miracle of birth should always be celebrated, people wondered why the rapper was using footage of Cardi's birth to promote his album.

People also pointed out the fact that Cardi B's debut album was called Invasion of Privacy.

Back in 2018, Cardi opened up about feeling like "an animal at the zoo" because of all the attention and scrutiny she was getting about her pregnancy and career at the time.
Of course, Offset likely got his wife's permission to share the intimate moment with fans, which people also pointed out.
"I'm pretty sure he asked her and she was okay with. Probably bc she posted a pic of Kulture and he was gonna use that as an album cover," wrote one fan.
