The 'Starships' star insists that she sees herself as a different artist to 'Born This Way' star.
Nicki Minaj has admitted she gets frustrated by comparisons between her and Lady Gaga.
The 'Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded' star said she was a big fan of the 'Born This Way' singer, but dismissed claims they were similar.
"We're in completely different lanes. I'm a rapper…Gaga's a fantastic artist, you know, she paved her way. She's opened her own lane. But I think that I have my own lane. And we never cross. Ever," she told ABC.
"So, you know, I really don't get the comparison anymore. Our music doesn't sound the same. Our stage presence is not the same. I just can't see the similarities."
Nicki Minaj is currently at number one with her latest album 'Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded'. The album includes the stars recent smash hit single on the Vodafone Big Top 40, 'Starships'.
Meanwhile, Nicki has unveiled a new video for the album track, 'Beez In The Trap'.
