Ne-Yo keen to help Cheryl

Ne-Yo is keen to help Cheryl Cole crack America.

The star says he'd love to connect with Cheryl if she moves to the U.S. next year.

Ne-Yo told The Daily Star "Me and Cheryl talked about working together earlier but our schedules never worked out. America is a tough market, but as long as she has the right material Cheryl can do it," he told the British tabloid.

Cheryl is currently considering whether to move "across the pond" "Moving to the States is such a life-changing thing that I need time to sit down and think what I want to do," she says.

It's still unclear whether Cheryl has landed a judges role on the US version of The X-Factor.
