The US star opened with 'We Can't Stop' and delivered an emotional rendition of 'Wrecking Ball'.
Miley Cyrus treated the world to two performances at the MTV Europe Music Awards 2013 tonight (10th November).
The US star opened the show with an intergalactic rendition of her Vodafone Big Top 40 smash 'We Can't Stop' before later taking to the stage for a powerful version of her Best Video song 'Wrecking Ball'.
She descended from the roof of the Ziggo Dome at the opening of this year's event in a make-shift space ship and got involved with some Twerking and spanking straight from the off.

Later in the show she then truly showed off her impressive vocals with an emotional rendition of 'Wrecking Ball'.
A huge screen with a close-up of Miley crying was shown behind as she let her voice steal the show.

Miley was always set to be the most talked about performance of the night following the controversy of her appearance at August's MTV VMAs 2013.
Other performances on the night came from the likes of Robin Thicke with Iggy Azalea, Katy Perry and Bruno Mars.
