The 'We Can't Stop' singer and the Hollywood actor are said to have once again decided against marriage.
Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have apparently called off their engagement this week.
Representatives for both stars confirmed the news to People magazine, and it comes shortly after news the 'Party In The USA' singer had unfollowed the actor on Twitter.
The pair have been caught up in break-up rumours throughout the year with reports that had previously ended their engagement.
Miley was also seen without her engagement ring during a series of promo trips before the summer.
The couple met back in 2010 on the set of the movie The Last Song and got engaged back in May 2012.
Liam was recently forced to deny claims he had been "sexting" fellow actress January Jones and Miley's controversial performance at the MTV VMAs 2013 was also said to have upset the Hunger Games man.
Neither star is yet to comment on their relationship with the reps denying to make further comment on the situation.
Meanwhile, Miley is back courting controversy with the raunchy music video for her latest single 'Wrecking Ball'.
