The 'We Can't Stop' singer is said to be hoping she gets a call from Jay-Z about working together.
Miley Cyrus has reportedly said she would "love" a team-up with Jay-Z if the opportunity arose.
The US singer received a shout-out from Jay-Z on a song from his new album 'Magna Carta Holy Grail', and is said to be "honoured" he gave her a name-check on the track.
Fresh reports claim Miley is now angling for a potential collaboration with the '99 Problems' rapper down the road.
"She'd love to," a source told Hollywood Life this week. "He knows how to find her."
"For the record Miley loves Jay-Z," another source also told the outlet. "The dude is one of the best rappers out there and Miley respects him.
"Having said that she was surprised Jay-Z even mentioned her and thought it was an honour," they added.

Earlier this week Jay-Z gave an interview where he defended Miley Cyrus over her new look and career direction as "fearless", and said he feels it's a natural reaction to growing up in the public eye from a young age.
