Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato apologised for not being there for each other and for their feuds following their Disney days.
Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato have buried the hatchet in a moving Instagram Live about their love for each other and Disney.
Fans of Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato will know that the two superstars haven't always seen eye to eye. Miley and Demi first became friends during their Disney days but, over the years, they've had numerous fallouts and drifted apart. In 2008, Miley and her friend Mandy Jiroux famously posted a YouTube video in which they appeared to mock Selena Gomez and Demi.

Since then, Miley and Demi have rarely been seen together but now they've put their past behind them in an Instagram Live.
Last night (Mar 17), Miley went on Instagram Live with Demi. During the video, Miley talked about how she felt when she was body-shamed after the 2013 MTV VMAs. She said: "Everyone started comparing me to a turkey. Memes can be so much fun but they also can be so hurtful. It was really hurtful to be so body-shamed like that."
She then explained: "I felt like having this persona of being the most confident girl on the planet was actually kind of a fraud because I was so insecure on the inside that in my personal life, I wasn't wearing bikinis or shorts. And, when I was wearing leotards, I had on like four pairs of tights because I was so insecure."
Demi responded: "Oh my God, same. Two things, first of all I'm so sad that you went though that and I had no idea. I wish I could have been there for you. I feel like we've gone through times where we're closer and distant but if that ever fucking happens again, you better call me. I'll walk to Malibu, I swear."
Touched, Miley added: "It's times like this that it's a great time to call and connect with people that you may have fallen out of touch with, or lost contact with due to some petty drama. It's in times of crisis that you realise what really matters, and it all seems really silly and small."
Addressing Demi specifically, Miley said: "Life is usually moving so fast that it's hard to slow down and appreciate people in our lives and that you've been that person for me for so many years and we've been friends for so long. We can not talk forever and then some bullshit will go down and I'll just know that you're the person that I want to reach out to.
She continued: "In dark times, I think it's important to reach out to those who're illuminating and I think that you're just such a light. And even if it's this crisis that gets us connected together again, instead of just running into each other at the studio. There's so few of us that we need to just never let this break again."
Demi then replied: "For sure, and I think, like you said, there are just so few of us that have known each other for so long that it's important to stick together. Being women in the idustry, it's important to support each other too. I feel like you've always been such a light and that's why we connected at 14."
She went on to say: "I had a fucking gap in my tooth. We connected then because we saw something in each other, maybe it was our spirituality, maybe it was just our hearts." Miley then ended the reconciliation by joking: "Or maybe we were just gay as fuck." We have no choice but to stan.
