Fans got very excited after the band's webpage was suddenly updated with an intriguing news post.
My Chemical Romance fans worldwide got very excited this past weekend (January 20th) after multiple news outlets reported that a possible reunion tour could be on the way.
Alt Press reported that the band's official website had added a mysterious post to their news page suggesting that an MCRX tour was about to be announced:

The band's YouTube channel also became active again, posting some alternative versions of their music videos, further fueling the speculation.

A lot of fans got, understandably, very excited at the prospect of seeing the boys back together on stage once again.
But, we've got some bad news...
On closer inspection, not only is this "news" post from July 2016, it was added to the MCR webpage by a fan in the forums with the username 'blurryface':

So, no reunion on the cards for the time being.
Tbh, as much as we'd love to see it happen, given how busy all the band members are with their various other projects, we would be very surprised to see them suddenly decide to get the group back together.
But, hey, at least we still have the memories, right guys? * wipes away a single tear *
