Matt Cardle to record album soon

We may not have to wait all year for a song from Matt Cardle.

The X-Factor winner has been updating fans via his video diary and says he plans to record the album soon.

He also reveals he got "smashed" with his mate and fellow X-Factor finalist Aiden Grimshaw (who could get a spot on the album). at New Year.

Fans will be able to see them both on the forthcoming X-Factor tour which Matt is looking forward to,"That's going to be a pretty incredible experience I reckon."
