The 'Daylight' singer says he still feels marriage isn't necessary for a couple to be happy together.
Maroon 5's Adam Levine has opened up about going back on his vow never to get married after getting engaged to fiancé Behati Prinsloo.
The 'One More Night' singer announced his engagement to the model back in July this year, but was called up on his previous statements about marriage in an interview this week on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
"Famous last words, I'll never get married," Adam joked to the US chat show host on Monday evening (28th October). "You know, I still don't think you have to get married, unless you meet someone that makes you want to marry them.
"And then you marry them and it's wonderful," he explained.

When pushed about when the pair are planning to officially tie the knot, Adam simply said: "We're working on [a wedding date]."
Maroon 5 are set to return to the UK in January 2014 for their 'Overexposed' tour.
