The 'Moves Like Jagger' stars have notched their ninth week at the top of the US chart.
Maroon 5 have claimed their ninth week at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 with recent single 'One More Night'.
The US stars have now tied Carly Rae Jepsen's record for the longest run at the top of the chart in 2012.
The track is taken from the group's latest album 'Overexposed' and has now jumped ahead of Gotye who spent eight weeks at the top earlier this year.
The band's previous release peaked at number two for six weeks and this week's Hot 100 number two goes to Rihanna with 'Diamonds' after PSY slips to five.
The rest of the top five is made up of Ke$ha with 'Die Young' at three and Fun's 'Some Nights' dropping to four.
Elsewhere on this week's chart, Flo Rida makes his way inside the top ten jumping two places with 'I Cry' and Taylor Swift, Alex Clare and Bruno Mars all feature.
Meanwhile, Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine is currently filming the latest series of The Voice at the same time as season four – which features new judges Shakira and Usher.
The singer admitted he "loves" working with the new star's on the show but is already missing the departing Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green.
