Adam Levine Engaged To Marry Behati Prinsloo After Surprise Reunion

The 'Daylight' singer's representative confirms he proposed to the model over the weekend.

Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine has announced his engagement to Behati Prinsloo, after reuniting with the model recently.

The couple were believed to have split earlier this year but confirmed through a representative this week that they are now engaged after working things out.

"Adam Levine and his girlfriend Behati Prinsloo are excited to announce they are engaged to be married," a representative for the singer confirmed to People this week. "The couple recently reunited and Adam proposed this weekend in Los Angeles."

Throughout June Adam was rumoured to have started dating Sports Illustrated model Nina Agdal, after the pair were spotted spending time together, however Adam is now fully committed to his relationship with Victoria's Secret model Behati.

Earlier this year Adam admitted he is "fascinated" by the institution of marriage but didn't feel he was likely to wed anytime soon.

Maroon 5 are set to return to the UK in January 2014 to kick off their 'Overexposed' tour.
