The 'Moves Like Jagger' singer's former partner confirms the break up in statement to magazine.

Maroon 5 star Adam Levine has reportedly split up from his girlfriend and Victoria's Secret model Anne V.

The news of the couple's break up was delivered in a statement from the pin up to People magazine.

"Adam and I have decided to separate in an amicable and supportive manner. We still love and respect each other as friends. I wish him all the best," she confessed, according to the publication.

The pair had been dating for two years after meeting at a party for a Sports Illustrated swimsuit reissue release back in 2010.

Meanwhile, Adam and his Maroon 5 band mates announced the title of their new album, 'Overexposed', last week and the singer is currently starring on the US version of The Voice.
