Drake shows off the inside of his Toronto mansion
Architectural Digest just gave us a close up look at the inside of Drake's $100 million Toronto mansion – dubbed The Embassy – and it is... something.
I know there's many more pressing issues at hand right now but please come and look at the overwhelmingly expensive and luxe interior of Drake's multi-million dollar Toronto mansion.
Back in 2018, Drake updated fans with a glimpse at the mansion he was building from scratch in Toronto, Canada. Over the past year, he's shared sneak peeks of the 50,000 square foot manor on Instagram, including the NBA-sized indoor basketball court and golden trophy room.

Earlier this month (April 2), Drake even took fans on a tour of the mansion in his 'Tootsie Slide' music video, showcasing the grand entrance, high ceilings and outrageously luxe furniture.
Now, he's shared an even closer look at his home with Architectural Digest – and everyone is gobsmacked (in both good and bad ways) at just how god damn huge it is.
“Because I was building it in my hometown, I wanted the structure to stand firm for 100 years. It will be one of the things I leave behind, so it had to be timeless and strong.”

Designed by Canadian architectural and interior designer Ferris Rafauli, Drake's "modern Art Deco" mansion – called The Embassy – boasts marble surfaces in almost every room, huge lighting fixtures as centrepieces throughout, expensive art installations, gold trim everywhere, a 4,000-pound bathtub carved from a single block of black marble, a recording studio, an indoor basketball court with working scoreboard, a lounge that looks like a bar in an exclusive hotel...
“It’s overwhelming high luxury," Drake said. "That message is delivered through the size of the rooms and the materials and details of the floors and the ceilings. I wanted to make sure people can see the work I’ve put in over the years reflected from every vantage point.”
Drake also added: “Because I was building it in my hometown, I wanted the structure to stand firm for 100 years. I wanted it to have a monumental scale and feel. It will be one of the things I leave behind, so it had to be timeless and strong."

As impressive as the build and the interior of the mansion is (personal taste levels aside, how can you drag the magnificence of all of that?!), Twitter had mixed reviews.
While some people can't get enough of the opulence of Drake's extravagant and impeccably built house...

Drake showed off his house for Architectural Digest & I’m honestly speechless...this is the most incredibly designed house I’ve ever seen. pic.twitter.com/2rncFshZNn

Some of y'all tried to shade Drake because his house isn't cheap because that's what you're used to. Just shaded yourself. Calling it a shopping mall or casino. Nah, this is old world opulence. https://t.co/BJ7YW9BEYs

Others aren't that into the "cold" marble, un-homely vibes and the sheer drama of it all.
this is chaotic. and stressful. and tacky. https://t.co/SIuoXezkDi

Drake’s house looks mad cold. The decor just doesn’t scream comfort to me. I love a comfy house

Drake’s home has all the charm of one of those luxury malls you have to walk through to get between hotels/casinos in Vegas.
