Lauren Jauregui Responds To Tiffany Haddish’s Fifth Harmony Diss At The VMAs

If you didn't watch the MTV VMAs this year, you missed out on a lot. Not only were there stunning performances from the likes of Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj and Jennifer Lopez, but Cardi B, Childish Gambino and The Carters all won major awards. The entire evening was a night to remember and we still can't get over everything that happened and the hilarious memes that the event inspired. The Ariana/Nicki one in particular is sending us.

However, it wouldn't be the VMAs without drama. First there was that Maluma kiss, then there was Travis Scott's Nicki diss and last, but not least, there was Tiffany Haddish's Fifth Harmony shade. Tiffany congratulated Camila on her nominations and then said 'for those of you watching at home: 'Hi Fifth Harmony'. Brutal. The joke didn't go down too well and now Lauren Juaregui has seemingly responded.

Taking to Twitter, the Fifth Harmony star appeared to critique Tiffany. Lauren wrote: "Waiting for the day when supporting one successful dope woman does not mean insult to other successful dope women." It's true that Tiffany could have very easily praised Camila without mentioning the 'Havana' hitmaker's former group. Besides, Fifth Harmony won a VMA last year and haven't released new music since.

Lauren then added: "There is energy and space for us all to beautifully coexist and bless the world with our individual truths, stories and talents." Tea. Of course, Tiffany's statement appeared to be quite tongue and cheek and Fifth Harmony aren't above shade themselves (at the 2017 VMAs they opened their performance with a nod to Camila leaving the group) but Lauren's tweet still stands.

Lauren wasn't the only one to respond to the diss. During the ceremony, Nicki Minaj shot back at Tiffany saying: "Don’t be coming for Fifth Harmony because Normani is that bitch." Amazing. Not only that but Normani even replied to the shout out on social media.

Normani tweeted: "Nicki Minaj I love you I love you I love you I love you I love you 🙈✨💖 You perfect queen you! Thank you for lifting me up. God is real. Now y’all know I love me some Nickiiiiiiiiiiiiii. Congratulations on tonight!!! Proud of you always."

Incredible. It's great to see Lauren, Normani, Dinah, Ally and Camila ALL thrive.
