The 'Born This Way' star reveals what it was like to appear on the hit cartoon.
Lady Gaga has revealed she was "more nervous than I have ever been" when she recorded her guest appearance on The Simpsons.
The 'Born This Way' star plays herself in the episode, which is due to air on 20th May.
In a behind the scenes video for the episode, Lady Gaga said: "I have always been a huge fan of the Simpsons. I was really excited and surprised.
"I've been itching to do some TV again and it was such an incredible script. It's so funny.
"Sometimes it was very endearing. Other times they were making fun of me and everybody else. It's sort of what I do as a performer."
The 'Judas' star added: "They're so wonderfully talented. I think I was more nervous than I have ever been because I have so much respect for them I just wanted to do a good job."
The creator of The Simpsons, Matt Groening, said the star was "fantastic" in the vocal booth.
"She was so good that we ruined many takes by laughing out loud," he added.
