We spend ages talking about Lady Gaga's costumes and outfits but it seems we should spend more time focusing on her silk undies.

Yes, the superstar believes wearing expensive silk underwear helps her creativity.

Insiders have revealed that she has spent £7,000 on lingerie, and has even banned other kinds of fabric from her underwear drawers.

"She's so in love with the way it feels on her body, she's demanded every item of lingerie be made from 100% pure silk," revealed one source. "Polyester, cotton and Lycra are all banned," they added.

"The finest silk made to order, is all she'll wear now," they continued. "She really believes this will help her creativity because if she feels comfortable and her skin is able to breathe properly she'll be able to concentrate on her music.
