Lady Gaga to release 'Judas' video over Easter
Lady Gaga has caused further anger with religious groups over plans to release her video for new single 'Judas' over Easter.
The singer, who rush-released the controversial track last Friday (15.04), is reportedly set to unleash the much talked about clip over the weekend.
'She is trying to rip off Christian idolatry to shore up her talentless, mundane and boring performances,' Bill Donahue, president of the Catholic League For Religious And Civil Rights, told The Mirror.
Images from the video, which will depict Gaga as Biblical character Mary Magdalene with actor Norman Reedus taking the role of Judas, has already come under fire from religious groups in recent weeks.
Her new album 'Born This Way' is out on May 23.
