The 'Born This Way' singer is preparing for her live comeback next month at the annual awards show.
Lady Gaga has been confirmed to perform at next month's MTV Video Music Awards 2013 where she will debut her brand new single live on stage.
The 'Marry The Night' singer announced the single's August release earlier this month, after taking several months off from the spotlight to recover from hip surgery.
The MTV VMAs 2013 will mark one of Lady Gaga's first big performances of the year, although she also sang the US National Anthem at New York's Gay Pride celebrations recently.
The US star will now perform live at the annual MTV awards ceremony which takes place this year at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on 15th August.

This week rumours have surfaced that Lady Gaga's comeback single is called 'Applause', after her make-up artist posted a picture hinting at the song title.
Lady Gaga's unannounced new single is set for release on 19th August, while her brand new studio album 'ARTPOP' drops on 11th November.
