Lady Gaga Teases New Single Release With Naked Promo Picture And Returns To Twitter

The 'You & I' singer shares a new promo picture and starts tweeting again after months of silence.

Lady Gaga has officially returned to Twitter after laying low for several months, and poses naked in a new photo shoot to promote the release of her new single.

The 'Marry The Night' singer deleted most of her 2013 tweets earlier this month as well as stripping out most of the design from her Twitter account, but has now posted a brand new message sharing the new promotional poster.

The photo shoot sees Gaga posing naked apart from a pair of strange oversized glasses and some high heels, as she sits on top of a thrown built out of futuristic microchips and motherboards.

"1ST SINGLE FROM ARTPOP COMES AUG. 19 #24DAYS," Gaga tweeted alongside the new picture, which has so far had over 30,000 retweets.

The 'Born This Way' singer's return to Twitter comes fresh from the announcement that Gaga will perform her new single, rumoured to be titled 'Applause', at the MTV Video Music Awards 2013 on 19th August in Brooklyn, New York City.

Lady Gaga will release her new single on 19th August and her third album 'ARTPOP' on 11th November.
