The 'Bad Romance' singer has been working with the Russian producer on a "unique" new sound.
Lady Gaga is aiming to create the "craziest songs possible" on her new album, according to producer Zedd – who has been working with the star on tracks for her 'ARTPOP' record.
The Russian DJ told Digital Spy that he's been thrilled to team-up with the US singer and it had always been a dream of his to work with the US star.
"For me, it's the biggest honour as not many people get to work with one of the biggest artists in the world. It's even better that I was a huge fan of GaGa before and it was a dream of mine to produce a song for her," he confessed. "In that sense, the pressure on it is huge!"
He continued: "She is so open-minded musically and creatively has made it easier in some ways."
Speaking about the type of material the pair have been creating, he said: "She wants me to do the craziest songs I can possibly do.
"I'm not thinking about fitting a shoe on the right foot. We're doing something completely unique and what we think is new.
"She's not been saying, 'You need to please my fans so make the songs sound like this', we've just made music."
Gaga originally teased an April release for her third studio album, but has now told fans to expect the latest record to be unveiled in the Autumn.
The 'You & I' star has been debuting new songs as well during her 'Born This Way Ball' tour including 'Princess Die'.
