The 'Judas' singer says the narrative of her latest music video is true to her own life.
Lady Gaga says the story in her music video for her current single 'Marry The Night' is a truthful adaptation of her life.
The 'Born This Way' singer premiered her last video last week says the 14-minute promo tells the story of the worst day in her life, when she was dropped by her first record label.
Gaga has become renowned for featuring high fashion in her music videos but insists 'Marry The Night' is more about the narrative.
"This was one of the first times that fashion didn't propel so much of the storyline," Gaga told MTV News. "It is autobiographical, so the entire story's true.
"It's though the lens of how I choose to repaint my past," she explained."Even though the fashion's important, for the first time, it didn't dictate every single moment.
"The aesthetic was more driven by the emotion of the song and the feeling of New York City.
The 'You & I' singer was been nominated in three categories for next year's Grammy Awards for her second album 'Born This Way'.
