Lady Gaga Is "Married To Loneliness"

Single Gaga says being lonely makes her a better artist.

Promoting new singles, spending time on tour and hitting up the recording studio mean Lady Gaga is on the road rather a lot, and she says loneliness is a given with that lifestyle.

"I am supposed to be (lonely)," the 'You And I' singer revealed.

"I am an artist. We wallow in loneliness and solitude our lives in search of answers to hundreds and millions of questions that run through my mind."

"Yes I'm lonely but I'm married to my loneliness."

Lady Gaga's on-off romance with ex Luc Carl, who is the "Nebraska guy" in her new single, was thought to be back on again before Mother Monster's lonely confession.

But Gaga revealed  to Asia's Star TV, ahead of her India tour, that work will always come before love for her.

"I would choose my work," Gaga said..

"I would die without it and could never be reborn."

Lady Gaga is set to open the MTV VMAs in LA this weekend.
