Lady Gaga Beaten By Madonna To Perform At Super Bowl Half-Time Show?

Lady Gaga has been beaten by Madonna in the race to perform at next year's Super Bowel half-time show, according to reports.

The 'Poker Face' singer was apparently in the running to perform in the coveted slot in 2012, but organisers have gone for the Queen of Pop.

"When Madonna heard Gaga was in the frame, she knew she had to step up her efforts," a source told the Daily Mirror.

"She is going to deliver the kind of show never before seen in NFL history.”

Justin Timberlake and Michael Jackson are among the artists who have previously performed at the Super Bowl.
