The 'You & I' singer says she didn't "really care" what Madonna's intention was behind the stunt.
Lady Gaga says she was "floored" after hearing the news that Madonna incorporated her song 'Born This Way' into a section of her 'MDNA' world tour last year.
Madonna used the song as part of a mash-up with her own song 'Express Yourself', believed to have been a dig at the song's reported similarities, but Gaga insists she was flattered by the nod.
"I have to be really honest, I was completely kind of floored that Madonna was singing my song on her stage every night," Lady Gaga reveals in the new Attitude issue. "I mean Madonna's… she's Madonna!
"I looked up to her for a long time," the US star explained. "I'm not quite sure what her intention was, to do that in the show, but I don't really care.

"She chooses to use her voice the way she chooses to use hers and I choose to use mine the way I use mine," Gaga continued. "All it meant to me was that Madonna Ciccone was singing my song on her stage.
"And as a punk-rocker from New York, I've basically been hoping that I would become so good that one day I would p**s off Madonna," she added.
Lady Gaga launched her new album 'ARTPOP' this week at a special event that saw her wearing the world's first flying dress.
