The 'Judas' singer sets up organisation to help inspire young people.
Lady Gaga has launched the Born This Way Foundation with her mother, Cynthia Germanotta.
The organisation, which takes its name from the singer's album and single of the same name, is designed to inspire and empower young people.
"My mother and I have initiated a passion project. We call it the Born This Way Foundation," Lady Gaga said.
"Together we hope to establish a standard of Bravery and Kindness, as well as a community worldwide that protects and nurtures others in the face of bullying and abandonment."
The 'Bad Romance' singer added that the foundation will encourage "youth empowerment and equality by addressing issues like self-confidence, well-being, anti-bullying, mentoring and career development".
Lady Gaga has been at the forefront of the battle against bullying in recent months following the death of one of her fans, 14-year-old Jamey Rodemeyer.
