Lady GaGa has become the first female artist in ten years to have her first two singles reach No.1 on the US Billboard chart.
The singer, who is currently touring the States on her first solo headline tour, first topped the US charts in January with 'Just Dance' and now the follow-up, 'Poker Face' has done the same, mirroring her UK chart success.
And, in a further boost to her ever-growing popularity, it looks as if she could achieve a chart double on this side of the Atlantic this weekend, with her both her latest single and debut album, 'The Fame' poised to top this week's chart.
The news should help to silence her critics, who have criticised her outlandish style and accused of her of lacking talent. Nothing like proving people wrong, eh...
