The 'Born This Way' singer says if her concert in Jakarta is allowed to go ahead she will go on stage solo.
Lady Gaga has updated fans on the situation surrounding her upcoming 'Born This Way Ball' concert in Indonesia, and has vowed to perform the show solo if it goes ahead as planned.
The 'Marry The Night' singer had been due to perform on 3rd June at the 52,000 seater Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta, however last week police denied a permit for the concert over security concerns.
The show's organisers had claimed they were fighting hard to save the performance, which would be Lady Gaga's largest Asian tour date, despite threats from Islamic hardliners to cause "chaos" if the show goes ahead.
"The Jakarta situation is 2-fold: Indonesian authorities demand I censor the show & religious extremists separately, are threatening violence," Lady Gaga tweeted earlier today (22nd May). "If the show does go on as scheduled, I will perform the BTWBall alone."
On Sunday Lady Gaga featured in a guest appearance on FOX animation The Simpsons in an episode which saw her voice a brand new song called 'Little Monsters'.
Lady Gaga's 'Born This Way Ball' world tour continues tonight with a show at the Mall Of Asia arena in Manilla, the Philippines, before heading to Bangkok, Thailand on Friday 25th May.
