Ke$ha Wears American Flag In New V Magazine Photoshoot

The 'Tik Tok' star shows off her patriotic side as she strikes a pose for the US publication's Americana issue.

Ke$ha has been pictured wearing the American flag and has her face painted with the famous stars and stripes in a new photoshoot with V magazine.

The 'We R Who We R' singer can be seen tailoring a makeshift dress out of the flag in the striking shots as she also sports a pair of cowboy boots.

The star has her new semi-shaved hairstyle on show and poses topless in the cover shot with dark red nails.

The shots are for the publications Americana issue and also features an interview where she offers in insight into the sound of her forthcoming new album.

She said: "It's not going to be some avant-garde jazz record. I innately write pop songs. That’s just what I do."

Ke$ha also opened up on her plans for collaborations in the future stating that she would love to team up with Justin Bieber and The Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards.

The singer is expected to release her second studio album 'Spandex On The Distant Horizon' this May.
