Ke$ha Thanks Her 'Animals' After Reaching Three Million Twitter Followers

The 'Tik Tok' star has issued a thank you to her fans after reaching a new milestone on the social networking site.

Ke$ha has thanked fans for the "best birthday present ever" after she reached over three million followers on Twitter.

The 'We R Who We R' singer turns 24 today (1st March) and reached the milestone after counting down how many followers she need to get.

"Dude. Animals. I might hit #3MILLIONANIMALS on my birthday tomorrow!" Ke$ha tweeted last night (29th February). "So close to #3MILLIONANIMALS !!!! I'm so excited!!!! Thank u animals it means so much!!"

She added today: "Thank u!!!!!! Best birthday present ever!!!!!!!!!!!! woke up to 3million!!!!!!"

The 'Tik Tok' singer was recently reported to be recording a duet with Justin Bieber for the 'Baby' singer's new album 'Believe'.

Ke$ha is currently working on her second full-length studio album as the follow-up to her 2010 debut 'Animal'.
