The 'Countdown' singer told Kelly she had "never left" after hearing her emotional new song.
Kelly Rowland says she had an emotional moment with Beyonce after playing the star her new song 'Dirty Laundry', which explores her professional jealousy of the 'Love On Top' singer.
The 'Down For Whatever' singer says Beyonce told her how proud she was after hearing the track, taken from Kelly's new album 'Talk A Good Game', for the first time.
"I played it for her and Michelle [and] Beyonce said, 'I never left'," Kelly revealed, during an interview on WKYS FM this week. "She heard how real I was and was like, 'I'm so proud of you'.
"It was the place that I was in, I was so young. My head was completely gone," Kelly explained. "That's what happened with my sister.
What matters to me most is what we have," the 'Keep It Between Us' singer added. "I'm so grateful for what we have as sisters, away from Destiny's Child."
This week Kelly broke down in tears live on stage while performing the song at a concert in Washington DC, and the US star explains that it felt like "therapy" to perform such an emotional track in front of an audience.
"Even in that moment of when I put my feet up, I felt like I was in therapy," Kelly explained. " I was singing and talking about what happened and, for a moment, it was like the crowd wasn't even there."

Earlier this week Kelly's new team-up song 'You've Changed', which features both Beyonce and Michelle Williams, was leaked online ahead of the album's release.
Kelly Rowland releases 'Talk A Good Game' in June and recently joined the panel of The X Factor USA.
