The song is taken from the US star's first ever Christmas themed album.

Kelly Clarkson has unveiled a new Christmas single called 'Underneath The Tree'.

The song features on the former American Idol champion's first-ever Christmas themed record, 'Wrapped In Red' - something she has been planning on for years.

The new album, her sixth in total, features five original songs as well as a further nine covers.

Among those covers are the classics 'White Christmas' and 'Baby, It's Cold Outside'.

The video sees Kelly performing the track live, with a huge Christmas tree in the background - giving the feel of a real-life festive celebration.
