Katy Perry - California Gurls

We're not sure how these California Gurls keep their bodies so trim if they are eating all the sweets that feature in Katy Perry's newest video. But we love it nonetheless.

Katy Perry has revealed the first single from her new 2010 album, featuring Snoop Dogg. Katy Perry announced that she was planning a new album for summer 2010, but we didn't realise quite how summery it was going to be.

'Teenage Dreams' will be Katy's third album and this week Katy has given us our first taster of the album with a new single, 'California Gurls' featuring Snoop Dogg.

Katy revealed in an interview with Rolling Stone magazine that the song is a response to Jay-Z's 'Empire State of Mind', it seems Katy was fed up with New York getting all the attention and wanted to give her home state of California a mention.
