Katy Perry Leads MTV VMA Nominations

The 'Last Friday Night' star steals the show with nine nominations.

Lucky Katy Perry is up for gongs including Best Video for 'Firework' and Best Collaboration for 'E.T.' with Kanye West.

"OMG! I just got word that I'm nominated for 9 MTV VIDEO MUSIC AWARDS!!!" Katy tweeted.

"I'm kinda speechless/nervous/turned on! NOW it's up to YOU to VOTE!"

Adele and Kanye are just behind Katy with seven nominations each, while Bruno Mars has four and Lady Gaga, Beyonce and Nicki Minaj all bag three a piece.
