Katy Perry Stars As The Sims 3 Mascot In New Video Game

The 'Teenage Dream' singer features in the latest The Sims game allowing fans to kit their virtual creations out just like the 'California Gurls' star.
Katy Perry stars as the mascot for a brand new expansion pack for The Sims 3, alongside a host of new game content themed around the singer and her recent 'California Dreams' world tour.
The 'Last Friday Night' singer has partnered with EA Games to front The Sims 3 Showtime: Katy Perry, which featured hairstyles, fashion, and stage props inspired by Katy herself.
"It's cool to see the Sim stage performances in The Sims 3 Showtime decked out just like my California Dreams tour – even my cotton candy video screens are in there!" Katy said in a statement about the game's release. "I always like to think of myself as a cartoon, and now I'm a Sim!"
The new game will allow gamers to create a character kitted out with several Katy Perry-inspired accessories, as well as beginning a career as a pop singer.
The Sims 3 Showtime: Katy Perry is due to be released on 9th March.
