Katy Perry Hangs Out With Selena Gomez At Charity Ball In New York

The 'Teenage Dream' star placed a comforting arm around Selena amid reports about her relationship with Justin Bieber.

Katy Perry was accompanied by Selena Gomez as the pair attended a charity ball in New York last night (27th November).

The 'Teenage Dream' star was pictured with Selena, whose one-off relationship with Justin Bieber has been the subject of huge press speculation in recent weeks.

Katy, who is currently dating John Mayer, has been keeping a low profile in recent weeks, but showed off her fabulous figure in a sheer navy sparkling ball gown with matching cape.

She placed a comforting arm around Selena, who also wowed in a black gown with gold trim at the UNICEF in SnowFlake Ball.

Meanwhile, it was reported recently that Katy has reunited with two of her favourite songwriters to begin working on the follow-up to her 2010 hit second album 'Teenage Dream'.

'Wide Awake' singer Katy is said to have started working with both Canadian producer Greg Wells and US songwriter Bonnie McKee on new material for her upcoming third studio album, both of whom she has written with in the past.

It was also reported this week that Katy and John Mayer are looking to move in together.
