The US star also gave 'Walking On Air' its first live television performance on Saturday.

Katy Perry brought her 'Roar' music video to life over the weekend for a show-stopping performance on Saturday Night Live.

The 'Teenage Dream' singer stopped by the live sketch show, hosted on Saturday (12th October) by Hollywood actor Bruce Williams to perform both 'Roar' and new song 'Walking On Air'.

Katy opted for a leopard print top and hot pants for her 'Roar' performance, singing on a jungle-themed stage and backed by dancers to the set, before changing to play her next 'Prism' song for the first time on television.

The US star was later spotted out celebrating her performance at the SNL after party alongside boyfriend John Mayer.

Katy Perry has also been named the first confirmed performer for the MTV Europe Music Awards 2013 on 10th November.
