Katy Perry And Ex-Husband Russell Brand Attend The Same Basketball Game In Los Angeles

The 'Wide Awake' singer and her ex were both pictured at the NBA season opener this week.

Katy Perry and ex-husband Russell Brand almost had an awkward reunion last night when they both attended the same basketball game in Los Angeles.

The 'Part Of Me' star joined her father Keith Hudson at the Los Angeles Lakers against the Dallas Mavericks game at the Staples Center in LA on Tuesday evening (30th October) for the season opener of the NBA.

Katy's comedian ex Russell was also in attendance at the high profile sporting event, but the two were seated on opposite sides of the arena and are not believed to have had any interaction at the game.

Russell wore a pair of skinny jeans alongside a grey vest and waistcoat for the outing, where he was spotted catching up with UK football star David Beckham, while Katy Perry opted for a light purple leopard print dress.

Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine was also at the basketball game and sat on the front row alongside Beckham and his LA Galaxy teammate Robbie Keane.

Katy Perry and Russell Brand divorced earlier this year and the 'Firework' singer is currently working on her new album, the follow-up to 2010's 'Teenage Dream'.
