Katy Perry Goes Rocker For Night Out Before Dining At Disneyland

The 'Wide Awake' singer went out clubbing in Santa Monica before a trip to Disneyland in California.

Katy Perry showed off her rock side over the weekend when she was pictured stepping out at a friend's birthday in California.

The 'Firework' singer was pictured out at Shore Bar in Santa Monica on Friday night (24th August) decked out in a black leather student jacket and a two-piece body suit covered with a sheer overlay.

Katy was spotted leaving the nightlife hotspot alongside several friends, fresh from reports she and rumoured beau John Mayer ended their brief relationship last week.

'Firework' star Katy and 'Your Body Is A Wonderland' singer John had been pictured out together several times over the past month, despite not making any confirmation about their relationship, but various news outlets reported late last week that the romance had come to an end.

Katy continued to enjoy her summer break over the weekend when she took a trip out to Disneyland alongside several friends, and showed off her cheeky side by posted a picture of her dining out at the members only restaurant Club 33 while wearing a pair of Mickey Mouse ears.

"Why yes! WE will dine with you Walt!" Katy tweeted alongside the picture.

Earlier today it was reported that Katy had turned down an alleged $20 million offer to join the judging panel for the new series of American Idol, alongside confirmed panelist Mariah Carey.

Katy Perry is due to begin recording for her next album in the coming months, the follow-up to her 2010 sophomore release 'Teenage Dream'.
