Katy Perry has denied that she recently went on a dinner date with One Direction singer Niall Horan.
Last week, rumours circulated that the two friends caught up over dinner - something which the 'Firework' singer has said was simply made up online.
"It's all made up," she explained. "I was doing an interview there and he happened to be there with someone else and I just said 'hello' – and that's how the Internet goes."
The artists have kept in touch ever since Katy was a guest judge on The X Factor and let Niall go through.
The One Direction man has always spoken of his admiration for the 'I Kissed A Girl' singer and even told Capital he'd love his band and her to team-up on a record together one day.
Last night saw Katy headline night one of the Jingle Bell Ball 2013 and she will be back in the UK next year for her 'Prismatic' world tour.
